Galapagos Scuba Diving Day Tour to Daphne Minor

Location: It is located near the north coast of Santa Cruz Island. It looks like a big flat-topped hat, but is indeed an eroded tuff cone. It is 30 minutes away from the Itabaca Channel (at the north side of Santa Cruz Island).

Site Conditions: You will find moderate currents at the site. It is a drift dive along the beginning of the solpe of a massive drop-off, at the top of a wall. It is also rocky and sandy at the bottom.

Activity / Marine Fauna: Here we find a small lava cave (It has NOTHING TO DO with cave diving), where you can find resting White Tip Reef Sharks. There is also a pinnacle where you can find a diversity of rays, Galápagos Shark, turtles, reef fishes, Barracudas, Black Coral attached to the walls, and different invertebrates.
