Galapagos Scuba Diving Day Tour to Floreana


This island is one of the older volcanic islands, with an uneven profile seen from the distance, that shows numerous volcanoes and parasitic cones. It was the first island to be inhabited by humans, and now a days it has the smallest concentration on ihabitants from the archipiel.
 
Floreana offers many excellent dive sites and also a few official visitor sites. (Punta Cormoran, Enderby and Champion).

Location: It is located to the south of Santa Cruz Island, offering 3 possible dive sites only 90 minutes away from the island.

Site Conditions: Divers should be alert for changeable currents. Some sites are reef dives where corals and sponges can be found and others are wall dives.

Activity / Marine Fauna: Here, most of the activity takes place in the shallow water where the reefs are bathed by the currents. Cleaning station, Sea Lions, Galapagos Sharks, White Tip Reef Shark, Green Turtles, reef fishes, Stingrays, Eagle Rays, barracudas, and also differentg invertebrates.
