Galapagos Scuba Diving Day Tour to Mosquera

Location: It is located to the north of Santa Cruz Island, between Seymour and Baltra Islands. This relatively low or flat rocky islet holds sandy beaches where you find sea lions resting. The diving site is 25 minutes away from the Itabaca Channel (in the north side of Santa Cruz Island).

Site Conditions: Usually there are no strong currents at the site. It has  a sandy bottom in depths between 15 to 18 metres, and you usually find garden eels and pelagic species there. You find also a wall that starts at 18 metres of depth, where it is possible to see black coral and different types of invertebrates.

Activity / Marine Fauna: Hammerhead Sharks, Black Tip Reef Shark, White Tip Reef Shark, Sea Lions, turtles, Barracudas, reef fishes, Stingrays, Eagle Rays, Mobula Rays, Galápagos Eel, and different invertebrates.
